Hair growth oil
Here’s a unique and powerful hair growth remedy using hibiscus flower, hibiscus leaves, curry leaves, small onions, aloe vera, and amla:
**Hibiscus, Curry Leaves, Onion, Aloe Vera, and Amla Hair Growth Oil**
Ingredients:
- 5-6 fresh hibiscus flowers
- 8-10 hibiscus leaves
- 10-12 curry leaves
- 3-4 small onions (shallots)
- 2 tablespoons aloe vera gel
- 2 tablespoons amla powder or 5 fresh amla fruits
- 1 cup coconut oil (or any carrier oil like olive oil or sesame oil)
Method:
1. Prepare the Paste:
- Blend the hibiscus flowers, hibiscus leaves, curry leaves, small onions, and fresh aloe vera gel in a blender until you get a smooth paste.
- If you’re using fresh amla, add the amla fruits to the blender. If using amla powder, mix it separately with a little water to form a paste.
2. Infuse the Oil:
- Heat the coconut oil in a pan on low heat. Once warm, add the blended paste and amla (if using powder, mix it at this stage).
- Stir the mixture continuously on low heat for about 10-15 minutes until the water content evaporates, and the oil starts to take on a reddish tint (from the hibiscus) and a pleasant aroma.
- Turn off the heat and let the oil cool down completely.
3. Strain the Oil:
- Once cool, strain the oil using a fine sieve or muslin cloth to remove the solid particles. You now have your nutrient-rich hair growth oil ready.
4. Application:
- Warm the oil slightly before use and apply it to your scalp and hair, massaging gently in circular motions to stimulate blood circulation.
- Let the oil sit for at least 1-2 hours or overnight for deeper penetration.
5. Rinse:
- Wash it off with a mild shampoo and condition your hair as usual.
Why This Works:
- Hibiscus Flowers and Leaves: Rich in amino acids and vitamins, hibiscus promotes hair growth, prevents hair fall, and strengthens the hair roots.
- Curry Leaves: They are packed with beta-carotene and proteins, which are essential for hair growth and reducing hair thinning.
- Small Onions (Shallots): They are rich in sulfur, which boosts collagen production, helping in hair growth and strengthening hair follicles.
- Aloe Vera: It nourishes and strengthens the hair follicles, prevents scalp inflammation, and promotes healthy hair growth.
- Amla (Indian Gooseberry): Known for its high vitamin C content, amla strengthens the hair, prevents premature graying, and encourages hair growth.
Bonus Tip:
- For best results, use this oil 2-3 times a week. Over time, you’ll notice reduced hair fall and improved hair density.
This natural oil remedy combines the hair-nourishing power of hibiscus, curry leaves, onion, aloe vera, and amla to give you long, strong, and healthy hair.
